Ms. Patricia Ann Fails

Patricia Fails was born on January 7, 1963, in Selma, Alabama to Pauline Fail and Essex Fail. Patricia relocated to Detroit, Michigan in 1966 with her parents and siblings. Patricia accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at True Faith Baptist church in Detroit, Michigan. She attended the Detroit Public School system. And would later graduate from Northwestern High school in 1982. Patricia was employed at Steve Soul Food at a young age where she worked alongside her mother. Where she developed her strong passion for cooking. She then began to work for the industrial industry where she was employed and retired from Sodecia (formally known as Zenith corporation) for 28 years. Patricia also worked part time at Happy Days Daycare, she enjoyed caring for children. Along with caring for other children, Patricia brought two of her own loving children in the world. In (1987) Patrick was born and then after in (1990) Patrice. Patricia loved her children dearly and bragged about them often. Some of Patricia favorite hobbies was playing cards with family and friends, shopping, and spending time with her grandchildren and going on outings with her daughter. Patricia was loved by everyone and could light up a room with her smile and sassy attitude. Patricia was very knowledgeable and helpful; everyone would call her for advice and just to talk. Patricia personality was unmatched and she was a very strong woman. On February 9, 2024 Patricia departed this life. She was preceded in death by her mother Pauline Fail and her brother Leon Fail. She leaves to cherish her memories: father Essex Fail; son Patrick; daughter Patrice; four siblings Shirley, Pauline, Lee (Brandi) and Shala; five grandchildren Eriana, Chase, Peyton, Paige and Patrick Jr.; many nieces and nephews, Sharnicia, Johnathan, Montez and Tijuan. Lee, Chris, Nyesha, Tokeyo, Carl, Anthony, D’Mariun, Kiesha, Crystal, Lil Leon, Keyon, Sharniece; grandchildren, Eriana Chase, Carlos, Peyton, Paige, Elijah and Patrick Jr.; great-nieces, Kevin, Janiyah, Ava and Royal, Lil Anthony, Adonis, Lil Carl, Anniyah, Sincerity, R’Mani, KeAsia, and many more friends and family; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.
