Ms Pamela Lynn Williams

In Loving Memory Of I was born Pamela Lynn Williams to the late Willie K. and Vertie Lee Williams on September 30, 1968, in Garden City, Michigan. I am the sixth child born to this union and the eleventh child overall. I found Christ as a teenager and attended Holy City Baptist Church lead by Pastor Steen, where I loved to sing in the choir. My love for praise and worship lead to First Lady Christine, teaching me how to direct the choir. As an adult, I was blessed to find my current church home High Praise Cathedral of Faith and my wonderful pastors, Bishop Clarence B. Haddon, Prophetess Joyce Haddon, and Elder Willie Elam III. As a member for over 20 years, I served faithfully as a director of the youth step team, a director and member of the choir, a member of the praise team and as the official greeter. I love my pastors, my church family, and have many cherished friendships that have blossomed and grown over the years. I graduated from Hamilton J. Robichaud High School, home of the mighty bulldogs, in 1986 and entered the workforce. My love of helping others led me to work in the customer service industry for over 25 years. I most recently worked for AT&T for 15+ years, then DTE Energy for five years. During my career, I met many wonderful people and developed friendships that I hold dear. I am blessed with two wonderful children that are my heart. My beautiful daughter, Tatiana Caprice Smith-Owens and my handsome “sun” Tyler D’Angelo Peteet. My daughter married and my wonderful son-in-love Walter Smith-Owens joined our family. They gifted Nana with two handsome grandsons that are my joy, Cameron Lee (my little Doodle) and Cairo James (my Juicy). I love being a member of such a big, loving family. I enjoyed spending time and travelling with my family. I had the pleasure of hosting many of our family gatherings and holiday celebrations where I had the opportunity to share my love of cooking with my family and friends. No matter the gathering or the holiday, Auntie Penny was ALWAYS making the macaroni and cheese, a desert or two and my momma’s biscuits. My family and friends enjoyed my pound cakes, and I enjoyed making them for whomever asked, or just because. My favorite gathering to host was our annual New Year’s Eve brunch. We gathered to share food, fun, dancing, bowling, and laughter and have our annual karaoke battle. I traveled to many parts of the world with my family and enjoyed the quality time spent with them all. From the early days of road trips and visiting family in the south in our station wagon, to taking our children to different amusement parks across the country, to traveling to the beautiful Caribbean visiting the Dominican Republic, Jamaica, and Mexico. On January 9, 2023, after 54 years of faithful service, God called me home. My parents and four brothers, Arthur, Ira, Lee Osborne and Willie Roy, preceded me in death. I leave to cherish my memory, and spread my legacy of unconditional love, my children Tatiana Smith-Owens and Tyler Peteet, my son-in-love Walter, my grandchildren, Cameron and Cairo, my eight remaining siblings Wanda, Linda (Stephen), Sayyeda (Khalid), Yvette, Carlotta (Steven), Lori, Kenneth (Monique) and La’Donna (Thomas), a host of nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends. Thank you all for loving me and always remember, “I love you more.”
