Mrs. Sharon Elizabeth Johnson

May 9, 1953 - March 30, 2022

In Loving Memory Of: We are gathered here today to celebrate the life of Sharon Elizabeth Johnson who has entered an eternal life in the presence of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Sharon Johnson was born on May 9, 1953 to the late Ellis McCloud and Margaret Lane in Detroit, MI. Sharon was the second oldest of twelve children. Sharon accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior. Sharon was married to Alex Johnson in 1970. To this union, three children were born. Sharon was educated in the Detroit Public School system. She was the founder and owner of Twice-As-Nice Boutique. Sharon was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Sharon had such a sincere love for being a grandmother. She addressed herself as “Grandma” to all her nieces, great-nieces, nephews, great-nephews, even to the children of other family members. Sharon preferred to be addressed as Grandma, Auntie Sharon. Sharon truly will be missed. Sharon departed this life on March 30, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ellis McCloud and Margaret Lane; her sister, Victoria McCloud (Young); and her brothers, Kenneth McCloud, Bruce McCloud, and Larry McCloud-Bey. Sharon leaves to cherish her memory: a loving husband, Alex Johnson; three children, Alex Johnson, Jr., Daryl Johnson-Bey (Jennifer), Carlos Johnson; stepdaughter, Gwendolyn Johnson; a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; four sisters, Judy Wood, Veronica McCloud, Metro McCloud, Patricia McCloud; three brothers, Ellis McCloud, Jr., Reginald McCloud, Mark McCloud; two sisters-in-law, Clotea Smith and Carrie Jean Banks; and a host of nieces, great-nieces, nephews, great-nephews, cousins, and friends.
