Ms. Roslyn Jones
May 9, 1955 - April 25, 2022
In Loving Memory Of Roslyn Jones, affectionately known as “Roz” was born in Detroit, Michigan on May 9, 1955 to Willie Jones and Jamie Render. Roslyn was baptized and attended Unity Baptist Church as a child. She sang in the choir as well as other church activities. Roslyn graduated from Sherrill Elementary, McFarland Jr. High and Mackenzie High School, all in the Detroit Public Schools system. Roslyn’s first job was as a DPS teacher’s aide for several years before retiring with 30 years of driving the bus for Detroit’s finest. She also served and retired from Judson Center as a adult group home aide. She loved caring for others. Just before her passing, she was driving for several years with ABC Student Transportation, hoping to soon retire permanently and enjoy her life. Roslyn was very vibrant as any one that knows her would attest to. She had the most beautiful smile to go along with a great sense of humor. Wherever she went she was no stranger, as she would have you laughing as soon as she hit the room. She was in so many words the life of the party wherever she went. Roslyn was called home on April 25, 2022.
