Mr. James H. Williams Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

In Loving Memory Of James Williams was born on December 25, 1942 on Christmas Day in Longview, TX to Bessie Mae Flemister (Rosemond) and Herman Williams. Bessie, Louise and James relocated to Detroit, MI in 1943 and accepted Christ at an early age. James attended the Detroit Public School system and thereafter started his career with Firestone and later went on to work at Ford Motor Sports as a part selector for Ford until his retirement in 2006. James enjoyed family and was a great cook and anyone could attest to this if you ever had his spaghetti. Furthermore, James loved his yard work, bike riding, fishing but above all he loved, loved, loved his nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters and godson Travis who he all had a hand in helping to raise us all. From his quick temper which we all affectionately understood, to his Saturday night candy bags he would bring home from Leon's or his end of the work week allowances he would give. James has truly been a blessing to everyone he encountered and will be greatly missed. James departed this life on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Dearborn Beaumont Hospital. He leaves to cherish his memories: three sisters Della Brown, Princess Wade, Ronada; one brother who preceded him in death Timothy; five brothers Travis, Jermaine, Arthur, Fredrick and Darren; seven nieces and nephews, CeCelia Facen and David Reese both preceded him in death; Deborah Miller, Lisa Reese, Eric Reese and Salina Reese; and 15 great-nieces and nephews, Ebony (deceased), Tiffany, David, Lance, Larnell, Garey, Angel, Leener, Jonathan, Ameeka, Tanesha, Dre, Eric, Erica, Trent and Patrice.
