Mrs. Gwendolyn Ozell Freeman

In Loving Memory Of Gwendolyn Ozell Traywick, was born February 15th, 1942, in Memphis, Tennessee to Odell Traywick and Dorothy Fisher Traywick. Gwendolyn accepted Chris at an early age. She attended the Manassas High School and later continued schooling for medical billing & coding. After moving from Memphis to Buffalo she united with Robert Moore in 1969 which bore her only daughter Dorothy Renee Moore born July 7th, 1970. In 1978 they moved to Detroit, Michigan where Gwendolyn worked for Henry Ford hospital up until her Retirement in 2004. Gwendolyn favorite hobbies were singing and baking. She would bake cakes for weddings, birthdays and sometimes just for the neighborhood kids. When it came to her singing, her voice would light up any dark room. She was a choir director at Antioch Baptist church in Buffalo, New York. Then she founded the gospel choir at Calvary Zion church in Detroit. Later Gwendolyn became the soloist in the Senior choir at True Love Baptist church. Her voice and loving spirit touched many lives. Gwendolyn unexpectedly departed this life on February 24th, 2022. She preceded in death by her daughter Dorothy Renee Moore. She leaves to cherish her five grandchildren, Charmaine Winters, Jaylin Brown, Destiny Brown, Jada Brown, and Michael Brown Jr., along with two great-grandchildren, sisters, brothers, loving family, friends and more.
