Mrs. Freddie Mae Lawson

In Loving Memory Of Mrs. Freddie Mae Lawson was born on May 22, 1935, in Little Rock, Arkansas, the daughter of Walter Dolphus and Thelma (Meeks) McPhearson. Freddie was one of eight children. She received her education in the Little Rock, Arkansas Public Schools system. She later met Willie Lawson Sr. (who preceded her in death) whom she married in April of 1956. During their union they had six children: Willie, Linda, Sharon, Lonnie, Beverly and Steven. Freddie and her family moved to Detroit, Michigan in 1969. She had three brothers, Robert Dolphus, Willie McPhearson, and Albert McPhearson Jr.; four sisters, Pauline Nelson, Geneva Caradine, Irma Brown (who preceded her in death) and Mildred Lawson. Freddie enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, socializing with her community residents and talking with her family and friends. She loved God and everyone who knew her, knew she was a very special person and she will be missed by all. She leaves to cherish her memory: her six children: Willie Lawson Jr. (Linda), Linda Lewis (Ronald) (preceded her in death, Sharon Boone (Curtis), Lonnie Lawson, Beverly Webster (Keith) and Steven Lawson; her 15 grandchildren, her great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews, family and friends.
