Mrs. Erma Gordon Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

In Loving Memory of Ermadine Gordon was born Ermadine Farley on March 29, 1933 in Detroit, MI to Rinell and Ruth Farley. She was the youngest out of five children Rinell, Dorthy, Midget, Catherine, and Ermadine. Growing up she enjoyed spending time with her siblings especially her big sisters. She attended Northwestern Hight School. Ermadine had ten children Carmalita, Bruce, Gregory, Jerome, Wesley, Janet, James, Sydney, Robin, and Sander. She married James Wesley Gordon and took on the last name Gordon. Erma lived the life she wanted and to the fullest. She loved to travel as she traveled to many states and cities. She worked at a hotel and a bar. In her later years she loved being a homebody spending time with her daughters and grand and great-grandchildren. She was blessed with eighteen grandchildren Jackie, Sydney, Renata, Antoinette, Delaney, Bobby, Shakira, Jennifer, Keturah, Pedro, Nydena, Tabitha (Erma), Luvinie, Robin, Anjelica, Shantelle and forty-eight great-grandchildren, nine great-great-grandchildren. She loved and enjoyed watching her stories and syfy movies. Erma was a strong, beautiful, and out spoken woman. Proceeded in Death with her is her mother, father, and all of her siblings. Also preceding her in death are her children Carmalita, James, Janet. Surviving her in death are her three daughters Sydney, Robin, and Sander. Her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews and nieces, as well as cousins and friends. She passed away on July 12, 2022 surrounded by a few of her loved ones.
