Mr. Cecil Jackson

In Loving Memory Of: Cecil Jackson was born on June 13, 1951 to Dossie Mae and Cecil Jackson in Crossett, Arkansas. He was the ninth of eleven children. Cecil graduated from Thomas William Daniel High School, Crossett, Arkansas in 1968. In 1969, Cecil moved to Detroit where he continued his education at Wayne County Community College, while working for Kroger and later JL Hudson's. In 1971, Cecil began his career at the Chrysler Corporation Dodge Main. Later relocated to Warren Stamping where he remained driving a Hi-Lo until he retired in May 2002. Cecil was a people person very friendly, kind and respectful, all who knew him, liked him. In 1971, Cecil also met the love of his life Janet Wade. Later marrying and having one child together. After retirement Cecil enjoyed meeting up with friends and talking about old times. Cecil loved his family, loved spending time with his grandkids. Cecil leaves to cherish his memory: a loving wife Janet, a devoted daughter, JaWanda (Damion) Mitchell; his siblings, Gearldine Stumon, Evelyn Singelton and Cleveland (Dawn) Jackson all from Las Vegas, NV; three loving grandkids, Jalen Mitchell, Kylah Mitchell and Darius Mitchell. A host of nieces, nephews and friends. Cecil was preceded in death by his mother Dossie Mae Jackson, his father Cecil Jackson, his sisters Earnestine Washington, Christine Jackson, Norma Jean Pruitt, Elois Jean Spencer, Gloria Jean Jackson, his brothers John Henry Jackson and Leo Jackson.
