Mr. Verner Ray Bradley

In Loving Memory Of Verner Ray Bradley was born March 3, 1945 in Hickory Plains, Arkansas to Louis Bradley and Nealie (Hood) Bradley along with his identical twin Vernell Bradley Sr. whom all preceded him in death. Verner Ray had been educated in the Arkansas school system at Biscoe in Prarie County of Arkansas. He was a hard working and a steadfast man when it came to Family. He later moved to Michigan at the age of 20 where he began his new life and worked for Chrysler Corporation starting in 1965 from where he also retired in 2004 after 39 years of service all while still taking care of Family. Working at Chrysler he met his wife Geneva Bradley and began his own lineage, he worked and lived a full life always being the life of the party and he had to be because he was truly the HNIC and the mouth of the South. If you asked Verner Ray about home he wouldn’t immediately think about Michigan he would always put in a reference to Hickory Plains, Arkansas where he was born and raised and proceed talk about his love for his family and his horses. Verner Ray was affectionately known as Yabba Yabba to coworkers, Vern to some family, as well as a husband and father. He cared so much about family because he was raised in a large family with 12 siblings. Verner Ray leaves to cherish his memory: his wife of 50 years Geneva Harris Bradley; two daughters, Kwajalyn Bradley and Shantell Bradley; his one and only son, Verna Ray Bradley (Janee); his grandchildren, Wyseen, Dasani, Janaja, Zaria, Javar, Jakeera; honorary babies, Kah’lani and Ka’myah whom he loved and cherished he was truly his grandchildren’s best friend; his siblings, Homer Bradley (Rosie) (preceded him in death), Onethia Williams (Elmer) (preceded him in death), Charles Bradley (Mary) (preceded him in death), Margaret Jones (James), (preceded him in death), Marvin Bradley (Mildred), Louise Ford (Roosevelt) (preceded him in death) Juanita Jones (Charles) (preceded him in death), Vernell Bradley Sr. (preceded him in death), Sametta Holloway (James) (preceded him death), Ruthenia Young (Thomas Sr.) Jackie Brewer (Willie) Louis Bradley Jr. (Vickey); and a host of favorite nieces, nephews, and friends.
