Mr. Robert Ralph Moore

In Loving Memory Of Robert Ralph Moore a.k.a. Black Rob was born on April 11, 1952 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Robert Walter Moore and Nolie Bernice Moore. Robert was the 3rd born of 5 children. Robert attended the Detroit Public School system and during his education at Barbara Junior High he met his future wife Diane Lupe Moore and to this union, they welcome 4 sons and 1 daughter. Our Dad was a family man and was the neighborhood dad. He took in anyone in need. In addition he fostered and adopted over a dozen kids in his life span. His spirt will be missed but will live in every soul he touched. Robert was a God fearing man and gave his life to Christ at an early age. He was a hard worker even at the early age of 15 he bought his first car and entered into the workforce, he was a manager for Boron gasoline company. He was proud and loved sharing this accomplishment with every generation at story time. He loved the responsibility of being a man at such a young age. His career didn’t end there he was employed at Huebert Founery and later went on to work at Daimler Chrysler Warren Stamping Automotive Company ( Local 869). He worked as a hi-lo driver from 1971 to 2002 and retired to enjoy the rest of his life with his family. Ralph was a big kid at heart, he loved playing video games and recording family moments on his reel to reel to the SOS BAND ( baby we can do it) if you know you know lol. He participated in many sports such as basketball and was one of the best and played baseball at soft ball city where he was a member of “THE LOW BAY BOMBERS” and “THE UNTOUCHABLES.” He loved going to the racetrack betting on horses and playing numbers. He had a knack for winning. If you got to experience him you’d know he loved cruising in his caddy blasting the temptations and anything Motown. He loved giving fun facts about why the 60’s was a time to be alive. I guess you can say our dad loved and was stuck in the 60’s. On September 4, 2024 Robert had a conversation with his God and whispered, I’m ready. He went out swinging like his favorite boxer, Muhammad Ali “I’m so mean I make medicine cry” indeed you gave the best fight of your life daddy. In the end you realized “Only a man who knows what it is like to be defeated can reach down to the bottom of his soul and come up with the extra ounce of power it takes to win when the match is even.” Daddy you won cause you went out on your own terms and gave this battle to the Lord. Robert lived a blessed and prosperous life. His great sense of humor, loyalty to his family and his enormous heart will leave a massive void in our lives. Preceding Robert in death, Nolie Moore (Mom), Robert Moore (Dad), Michael “Mickey” Moore (Brother) Darryl “Big Glen” Moore (Brother), Earl “Skip” Moore (Brother) and Sharon “Candy” Moore (Sister). Robert leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Diane Lupe Moore, 4 sons; Ramon Rashe Moore (Genea Moore), Robert Ralph Moore (Brittney Moore), Ronnel Rashard Moore, RoMario Romelo Moore and 1 daughter Ramia Rachelle Moore. 12 Grandchildren Rockie Moore, Ronnel Moore Jr., Ramon Moore Jr, Wynter Worthy, Alina, Jalina, Olina Moore, Justice Moore, Ryilee Moore, Brandon Durden, Kaylee Moore and Range Moore; and 2 Great-Grandchildren Mace Register and Maverick Register. Surviving siblings; David Lawerence Moore (Brother), Robert Muhammad Moor (Brother), Norma Raymona Dickerson (Sister), Selebrity Spratt (Sister), Makeba Moore (Sister). As well as a host of relatives and friends; Vonciel Gray-McQueen (Bonus Sister), Ray Durden (Bonus Son), Mark Moore (Nephew/Son), Jamal Moore (Nephew/Son) and Narobi Moore (Niece/Daughter).
