Ms. Regina Marie Ferguson

God blew the breath of life into Regina Marie Ferguson, born June 5, 1966 in Detroit, Michigan to Marilyn and Henry Ferguson Sr. She accepted Christ at an early age and graduated from Mumford High School within the Detroit Public Schools district. Regina continued her education across multiple institutions including Highland Park Community College and Wayne County Community College earning distinctions in phlebotomy and bricklaying. Regina was a woman of many talents. Throughout her life, she poured herself into her work in hospitality, healthcare, transportation, landscaping, small business ownership and interior design. In each role, she was able to reveal another layer of her creativity, dedication and generosity. Regina moved through the world with a spirit that lifted others no matter where she went. Her warmth, kindness and sincerity touched everyone she met. Regina was a deeply affectionate and genuine people person. Her beautiful spirit drew others in with a smile, kind word or a shared moment that made people feel valued. She made friends wherever she went and her encouragement helped many find clarity, confidence and renewed purpose. Even through life's challenges, Regina, remained hopeful, joyful and deeply rooted in her faith in God. She was a servant in the truest sense, always giving of her time, talents and heart. She embraced the joy of worship, hosting, reading, traveling, cooking, visiting restaurants, concerts, fashion and overall fun. Some of her favorite places to visit included Chicago, IL and Harlem, NY. On Friday, June 27, 2025 at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan, Regina transitioned peacefully to her eternal heavenly home. She was preceded in death by her Father, Henry Ferguson Sr., Grandmother, Mamie Ferguson, Grandfather Ruben "Pete" English, Uncle Frank English, Uncle Leroy English Sr., Aunt Gwendolyn Grant, Aunt Mary Vaughn, Aunt Camilla Hicks, Uncle John Jeffries, Uncle Roosevelt Jeffries and Uncle Harry Jeffries. Regina leaves to cherish her memory her loving Mother Marilyn, Cherished Daughter Rashida, Beloved Granddaughter Dakota, Devoted Brothers Henry Jr. and Keito (Companion Tonya), Nieces and Nephews Celica, Keito Jr., Keion, Kieesha and Karone, Great-Nieces and Nephews Kailey, Kaylie, Keion Jr., Karlito "King", Cousins English, Grant, Hicks and Jeffries families, a countless vast of other relatives, a multitude of friends and extended family whose lives were forever changed by her love.
