Mr. Keyonte Charles Gadson

In Loving Memory Of Keyonte Charles Gadson was born on November 16, 1993, to Kenyata Renee Washington and Charles Riley Gadson. Keyonte, more affectionately known as “Tay Butta” was educated in the Detroit Public School System and later received his GED certification. From a baby, Keyonte stole many hearts and would become a part of several extended families. As a child, Tay was very athletic and naturally talented. Played football, basketball, and baseball under the coaching of the late, “Uncle Deon” Taylor, where Keyonte became a son/nephew to the Taylor family. Everybody loved Keyonte, his smile and laugh, literally lit up the room, especially if he was in one of his silly, prankster moods. He loved being a protector to his family. He loved his family so much. Especially his mother Kenyata, his daughter, KaMarionna and his “Tee Tee” Toya. Keyonte was a caring, loving son, father, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend. Keyonte had a ton of “cousins throughout his life, if you were lucky enough to capture his heart, you were considered his family. However, his closest cousins were his best friends from birth, Tiearra, Gummy, Japooh & JJ, they were his sisters and brother, if you ever heard him talk about them. He was so proud of his family and cherished them dearly. Keyonte had many talents; however, he found his niche in rehabbing houses. Keyonte enjoyed home improvement jobs. He loved to fix on houses, interior/exterior painting was his specialty he loved doing the most. Keyonte was preceded in death by his grandmothers; Marilyn Washington and Janice Gadson, grandfathers; Dennis Washington Sr. and Robert Gadson Sr, aunt, Jamel Washington, uncles; Dennis Washington Jr., and Reginald Griffin and godbrother, Jermaine Webb Jr. To cherish his memories, his parents, Kenyata Washington, and Charles Gadson. Daughter, KaMarionna Allen. Siblings; Rose, Charles Jr, Marcel, Sean, Blake (Taywon), Riley, Charley, Camron and Tristen, bonus mother; Dawn Donald and bonus dad, Herb Whitty, aunts; Toya Kimbrough and LaTonya Gadson. Uncles; Anthony (Lindsay) Kimbrough, Stewart and Pierre Washington and Robert Bobby Gadson Jr. and bonus uncle Michael (Mary) McCree, godmother; Shavelle Tucker & godbrother Anthony Tucker. Special cousins; Tiearra and LaWanda Bradley, Jasmine and James “JJ” Kimbrough, Keshaun Gamble and Khalil Jones and host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.
