Mrs. Jacqueline Yarbrough

Jacqueline (Taylor) Yarbrough was born July 20, 1958 in Detroit, Michigan to the late John T. Taylor and Cathleen Taylor. Jackie as we all called her, was the baby girl of nine siblings. Jackie attended school in Detroit Michigan and graduated from Kettering Senior High School in 1976. After high school she joined the Armed Services. After servicing her country Jackie applied for the United States Postal Service where she retired in 2014 after 30 years of service. While working for the post office Jackie met and fell in love with Sherman Yarbrough and on September 27, 2015 they were joined in holy matrimony. In this union the couple enjoyed each other’s love and companionship and they were known to cut a rug in ballroom dancing. Jackie brought three beautiful children into this world that she loved with all her heart and would do anything for. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother; she had a heart of gold. Jackie was the go-to person if you needed anything, she was the glue that kept the family together. Jackie enjoyed exercising and staying fit. In her earlier years, she enjoyed spending time with her Post Office family playing softball and bowling. After retirement she began crocheting and making homemade gifts for those she loved. She loved spending quality time with her family and friends, especially the little ones that brought her so much joy, her grandchildren. Jackie will always be remembered as a soft-spoken person with a big smile and a big heart, and the tight hugs when ever she saw you. Jackie departed this life on September 22, 2020. She was preceded in death by her parents John and Cathleen Taylor, sisters Emma Jean Vaughns and Ann Spivey; brothers Bruce and Michael Taylor And Brother John (Terry) Taylor Who departed 12 days before her passing. She leaves to cherish her memory, husband Sherman Yarbrough , daughters Jennifer and Jacqua Taylor; sons Jered Taylor and Sherman Yarbrough Jr., Grandchildren, Jahavier Taylor, Sherman M Yarbrough III, Naomi Yarbrough and Alita Rose Yarbrough; siblings James Taylor (Laresa), Cathy Beeler and Harold Taylor (Brenda); and a multitude of nieces and nephews, sister and brother in laws; and a host of faithful friends.
