In Loving Memory Of: Jackie Sue Latham went home to loved ones who met Nana as she peacefully arrived in Heaven. Paul and Georgia were warm and welcoming as always. Paul and Georgia spared no expense on her homecoming, with the help of Jackie’s older brother, William, and thousands of other heavenly helpers from the Latham Tribe she was welcomed with royal trumphets sounding a Silent unity as she passed by her well wishers and waved her hand . Named Jacqueline Sue Latham when she first was welcomed to her parents on November 11, 1937 in St. Louis, MO. Jackie, a fiery redhead early on won the hearts of anyone she encountered.She was educated and earned her High School Diploma from East St. Louis High School, attended SIU and graduated from St. Marys as an X Ray Technician who would later on dedicate herself to the field of medicine during the time she worked at various hospitals and medical offices. Her tireless work as an X-ray Technician lasted for forty years. Jackie was not only educated, but a very pleasant personality which caught the eye of one handsome Dr. Harold T. Perry. Harold and Jackie were married and their family was later blessed with three children. Reynaldo Eric Perry, Roxanne Maria Perry and Roslyn Elayne Perry. Jackie was able to manage motherhood as well as a career. That trait followed her even during her senior years. Her active membership and loving service at Detroit Unity Temple included Greeter, Choir Member and also volunteer. Georgia, also known for her long standing volunteering at St. Mary’s Hospital gift shop was her guiding support and very proud of her. The apple didn’t fall very far after all. Speaking of blessings.... Nana was a loving influence for her six loving grandchildren Daman, Deon, Joshua, (Kelsey), Rico, Jaquel and Jay as well as a host of great-grandchildren, cousins and friends. She was well-known for her wittiness, her dedicated service to others, her magic lemon Kool-Aid, wearing stylish outfits, Kroger and antique shopping, the best slow cooked baked beans, and pepper steak, roasts and she loved hot buttered rolls along with her green thumb, making legendary lifespans for Christmas Poinsettias and a zillion, trillion, bazillion other little secrets that only God knows. This just in!! Her cousin Lana; and her best friend Gwen, of over 60 years can tell lots of amusing stories and funny quotes that might cost you a glass of bubbly, haha, just kidding. Her real life stories including this scorpion’s sting can be best heard by her baby brother Carlos G. Latham, who will carry on the Latham Legacy. Her heart of Gold will truly be missed but she serves on, in Heaven, with adoring praise from all the other Souls there.
