Ms. Davina Renee Grady

Davina Renee Grady was born on May 2, 1975, to Alice Marie Grady slaughter and Robert Lee Slaughter. Davina accepted Christ at a very young age. Davina attended Barton elementary Drew middle and graduated from McKenzie high school in 1993. Davina began her employment opportunities with Ameritech corporations as a telecommunications operator. She then further her employment opportunities to the medical field. shortly after she became a mother in 1995 with her only son Jaylin Breon, Davina decided to further her education in business management and the medical field. now as a mother of two beautiful children, she transitioned onto a new career path with DMC as a patient sitter, registration clerk, admitting patients and working in the oncology department for over 10 years. She was a firm believer “everything happens for a reason if you are strong from within, you can Will anything“and with that any given day at any time, Davina would welcome anyone who needed it into her home. She enjoyed being around love and positivity. Davina was never a homebody. She enjoyed going out and partying with her closest friends as much as she could. Dressing for fabulous outings and parties going to the casino or just having a night out just because. she enjoyed cooking all of her favorite recipes. And loved hosting for friends and family. Davina was affectionately known as Renee, Nay, sis or just Beautiful to her family and friends. She was a devoted and resourceful mother soon to be grandmother, sister and, friend to all. Davina transition this earthly life on Tuesday, January 28, 2025 in the early morning at her Dearborn home. Davina held on to a strong fight. She was the strongest fighter. Surrounded by her loved ones. She was preceded in death by her late mother Alice Marie Grady slaughter her father Robert Lee slaughter her only uncle William Joe Grady and her grandmother Marie Grady. She leaves to cherish and honor her memory, her loving devoted children, Jaylin Breon, and Maria Imani soon to be grandson, son-in-law Sterling two Aunts Angelica Renée and Jasmine Grady with the host of nephews and nieces.
