Ms. Bobby Jean Green

In Loving Memory Of Bobby Jean Green was born on July 25, 1952, in Macon, Georgia. She was born to the late Theotise Green and Dorothy Sallette-Green. In her youth, she attended the Bibb County Public School System. She was preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents, her parents, two brothers: Theotise Green Junior and Charles Anthony Green; one sister, Patricia Ann Denson and a precious baby girl, Robbie Jean Thomas. She accepted Christ into her life, at an early age. She was a member of Tried Stone Baptist Church, Detroit, Michigan. Bobby Jean worked for many years in Home Healthcare. She enjoyed playing Spades, spending time with her grandchildren and talking on the phone with her family down South. In her later years, she had a knack for storytelling that was truly cinematic, transporting us into the heart of her experiences, making us laugh, cry and marvel at her adventures. Her wit was as sharp as a tack, always ready with a quick retort or a clever joke, that would leave us in stitches. She had a sense of humor that was infectious, a laughter that could light up the room and hearts alike. But, beneath her humor and wit, she was a woman of steel! She was tough, resilient and a fighter who faced life's challenges head-on. Her stories were not just tales of her life, but also lessons she imparted. Through her vivid narratives, she taught us about love, loss, joy, hardship and the importance of keeping a sense of humor through it all. Her stories were a testament to her spirit, a spirit that was indomitable and full of life. We lost a Mother, Sister, friend, a storyteller and a guiding light. Her memory will live on in the stories she told, the laughter she shared and the strength she showed. She will be deeply missed, but her legacy will continue to inspire us. On Tuesday, November 28, 2023, Bobby Jean departed her earthly life, in the comfort of her loving daughters. A precious one from us is gone, a voice we love is still. A place is vacant in our hearts, that can nevermore be filled. Precious memories will forever be cherished by her two devoted daughters, Andrea Brown (Walter) and Ebony Gaines (Rodrecus); six wonderful grandchildren: Andre, Addison, Eli, Ethan, Isis, and Enzo; two sisters, Juanita Green-Heath of Macon, GA and Irene Turner (Fitzgerald) of Webster, FL; along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
