Mr. Andrew Williams, Sr.

My Journey: My journey started May 24, 1966 with my parents, William Andrew and Charlene. I became a part of the trio known as Tony, Andy, and Eddie and later known as the "Boys" when Charlie came on the scene. Lifes highway took me through many valleys and mountains. In short, I enlisted in the Army where I served proudly and was honorably discharged. One of the highest points of my life was when Stephanie and I welcomed Andrew II, Andraya and Aliano into our lives. They were the apple of my eye until I discovered even more joy with my grandchildren, Marie, Jaidyn and Laura, and more recently, Antonio Jr. and Eliana. I was so thrilled to be able to travel with my wife, Michelle and visit so many places that I had only dreamed about. But my greatest joy was when I took a trip to my family reunion and had the opportunity to take my oldest granddaughter. It was a mighty high for me. There were so many people that enriched my life that I cannot mention them all. But, my other brother that walked with me through the valleys and mountains was Herbert. After my service with the Army, I joined the SEMTA/SMART family where I remained employed until my day of rest. The time there brought many friends whom I got to know and respect. I was a forever Mustang enthusiast and later bikes. The need for speed never left me. I was a free spirit. I leave my memories and legacies to all of my family and friends that are too numerous to name. But I do want my immediate family, Michelle, Andrew II (Amanda), his special baby Dakota; Andraya, Aliana (Antonio), Charlene (Joe), Charles (Natasha), Anthony (Candice) Charlie, Joe Ann, LaTasha, Ma Mary, Darrell, Betty (Klause), Yvonne (Kenny), Elaine (Waajid), Marie, Jaidyn, Laura, Antonio, Jr., and Eliana, Pat, Ronetta, Sheketta, to know that I love you and this is not goodbye. Now I have come to the end of my journey, stepped through the door and was greeted by my father, William; grandparents, Baby Lou and Charles, Mamie and Matthew; special baby Jazz, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. So please do weep for me, but smile, for I am with loved ones who also loved me. Until we meet again, my love to all.
