Mrs. Tina Marie Tinsley

in Loving Memory Of; Like watching a flower bloom, June 29, 1973 was a day full of joy when a beautiful baby girl named Tina Marie Fuller was born. Her arrival was a dream come true and brought new life to the family home which included an aunt, uncles, and her grandmother "whom she adored." Growing up in a house full of believers, Tina accepted Christ in her youth while attending Pentecostal Temple Church. Tina showed to be an academic scholar receiving outstanding grades and numerous awards at a young age. During her years at Denby High School, she was on the tennis team, worked at Taco Bell and excelled in her academics studies. With her eyes set on a bright future Tina went on to attend Central Michigan University in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan where she joined the Zeta Rho chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., earned her Bachelor's degree in Biology and met the love of her life Jason Tinsley. Upon graduation, she pursued a career in the automotive industry creating paint pigments and innovative color mixes at BASF. Many of those colors were used on cars manufactured by Chrysler and GM in the mid 1990s. She also went on to graduate from Lawrence Technological University with an MBA during her automotive career. With a spirit of entrepreneurship and creative eye, she started her own business, Atmospheres, creating floral centerpieces, decorating and designing events, and building out corporate office interiors across metro Detroit. Tina also oversaw event planning for the House of Prayer and Praise Ministries where she attended following college. Tina was the ultimate girly girl! She loved to shop within the Grosse Pointe community and surely in her beloved city of Detroit. Having a keen eye fashion, Tina always made sure she was dressed to leave a lasting impression. Tina took the most pride in making sure her sons, were dressed like no other boys before. Tina's keen eye for style did not stop at fashion but it showed throughout the beautiful home she created for her husband and sons. She could decorate like none other, even elevating the Fuller family reunions to another level. If Tina was involved, "regular was not acceptable!" She was going to leave an impression." This ultimately led to her taking on the role of event planner at the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History and ultimately led to her dream profession as Catering Sales Executive for the Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center. During this time, Tina equally pursued her desire to have a family marrying her college sweetheart Jason. To this 17-year union, Justin, Jonathan and Jordan (affectionately known as the J - boys) were born. With her family by her side, Tina continued her Christian calling as an active member at New Light Baptist Church where she led the Pastor's Care ministry in addition to many other events. Tina made everyday a holiday and every holiday an event! Tina always created the spotlight, but never wanted to be in it. Her joy came from making others feel like they were special. She put her all into everything she did, including her desire to fight cancer in private. This three-year battle never stopped her from loving her family, enjoying the company of friends, praising the Lord, and working every day. Ultimately, God had plans for her in heaven. Her earthly duties were completed.
