Ms. Theresa Annette Harris

In Loving Memory Of Theresa Annette Harris affectionately known as Trish was born on May 11, 1956 in Detroit, Michigan to Mora Louise Harris and Bennie Henry Harris Jr. Trish was one of many grandchildren of the late Pastor B.H. Harris and Viola Harris. Trish accepted Christ at an early age and attended Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church as a child, she later rejoined Pleasant Grove during the pandemic in the church parking lot service. Trish received her formal education in the Detroit Public School System and graduated from Cooley High School. Trish worked all her life, White Castle, Seven Eleven, Bath and Body Works, then in 1986 she was employed at Ford Motor Company. Where she worked faithfully for 43 year, 32 of the years were at the Livonia Transmission Plant. She enjoyed working at Ford and the people she worked with, She was also a dedicated Team Member for the UAW Local 182 and was very involved with the union. Every place she went in the plant people would hear her loud voice and know she was present, She was adored, admired and love by so many staff members and workers. She retired in March 2020. Trish truly loved her family and friends without a doubt. She enjoyed traveling to Alabama, Atlanta, Arizona and especially Las Vegas. She loved going to the Casino playing the slots, she also enjoyed playing her lottery at Levan Wine Shoppe, Rays and Jonnas Market she was like a celebrity when she entered the building. Everyone knew her loud voice saying "Heeey EVERYBODY What’s Up!!!." She enjoyed cooking for holidays and picnics and most of all baking her famous Upside Down Pineapple Cake, Double Chocolate Cake and Red Velvet Cake and everyone remembers and loved her famous Hunch Punch (Da-- Punch named by Calop. Trish loved doing special meaningful things like making easter baskets, making individual gift bags with your name on it, it was so precious. She did everything from the heart. She will truly, truly be missed. Trish made her peaceful transition on Wednesday, August 15, 2024 at Angela’s Hospice Facilty at 1:15 am. She leaves to celebrate her life and cherish her memories: two sister/cousins LaShawn Cooper (Gary), Carol Courtland from Atlanta, Georgia; one brother Brady Howard (Julia); two nieces Tamatha Rowden (Ernest), Anthiano Thomas (Willie) from Jones, Alabama; four aunts, Pecola Bell, Emmie Head, Ruth Brown, and Evelyn Holmes. A host of first, second third and fourth cousin, family and friends; one special goddaughter Myia Driscoll Thompkins; best friends Sheila Driscoll and Sherri Brandy.
