Ms. Jennifer Lynn Eakins

Ms. Jennifer Lynn Eakins, affectionately known as Jenna Lynn was born into this world on Wednesday, December 28, 1983 to Dollye Faye Eakins and Bobby Ray Eakins at Sinai Grace Hospital in Detroit, Michigan and the top song of the radio was, “Say, Say, Say” by Paul McCartney and Michael Jackson. Jenna Lynn was christened at Elevation Fellow-ship Temple of Light to Godparents Prince Michael Benson and Sister Betty Douglas-Thomas in April of 1984 under the auspices of Reverend Princess H.E. Scott. She attended Play and Learn, Elevation’s daycare center and became a “Wee Woman, where she was the apple of God’s eye. She later joined the Altar Guild at Elevation Fellowship Temple while pro-fessing her faith and accepting Jesus Christ as her personal Savior as she learned and memorized the Altar Prayer that would later usher her into the arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Jenna Lynn was educated in the Detroit Public Schools, Jamieson Elementary, Spain Middle School and Murray Wright High School. She would become passionate about marching in the band at Spain Middle School that would carry over to high school along with joining the JROTC. Jennifer graduated with high honors and pursued her business degree at Jack-son State University. Later, Jenna Lynn attended Antonelli College where she received an Associate of Applied Science in Massage Therapy Diploma in Massage Therapy. Jenna Lynn became a licensed massage therapist and she was the CEO of Serenity Concierge Massage Studio in Atlanta, Georgia. Jenna Lynn would later be submerged in joy and happiness with the birth of her two sons, James Andrew aka Drew, 11 and Joshua Cameron, 8. Jenna Lynn was extremely active with her boys in all of their endeavors especially their educa-tion. She volunteered as the secretary of the PTA at each of their schools. She attended all of their football games along with her co-workers. Whether it was donuts for dads or muffins for moms, Jenna Lynn was there for her boys. She was their biggest fan and will be cheering them on from Heaven. She loved participating with them in boy scouts and spending most of her time helping them to develop into fine young men. Jenna Lynn still in love with the Lord attended Mountain West Church in Atlanta, Georgia with her mom and her sons Drew and Joshua. She was baptized there and served on the Baptism Committee where she served with honor because she really loved serving the Lord. Football anyone? For Jenna Lynn, it was the Detroit Lions (diehard fan) and the University of Alabama (Rolltide). She loved football. Just cruise through her Instagram and Facebook page and you will see that she loved these two teams. At any given time she was a fan of Mickey Mouse and Sponge Bob Square Pants too. Jenna was no stranger to social media. She loved all of you and it is written with sentiments of love on her Instagram and her Facebook page. As well. Jenna Lynn also loved to travel at any given time no matter where she was going. She was a jet setter. Jenna Lynn never met a stranger she was employed as a personal banker at Wells Fargo Bank in Atlanta, Georgia where she had many clients that loved and respected her advice for their financial stability. She loved helping people achieve their financial goals while developing relationships with her clients through follow-up visits. She also worked well with her co-workers who were her dear friends. Our sweet Jenna Lynn was called home on March 10, 2018, at 3:30 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia to join in the heavenly chord with her Goorah, Mildred Tingle, her favorite aunt, Doris Jean DeLaHoussaye, her grandfa-ther, Willie Lard and her grandpa, James Tingle. She will be forever missed and in our hearts but we know that another angel has received her wings. She will be watching over her children, Drew and Joshua every day and every night. She leaves to carry on her legacy of loving God and loving people, her two sons, James Andrew and Joshua Cameron of Lithonia, Georgia, her loving mother and friend, Dollye Faye Eakins also of Lithonia, Georgia, her beloved dad, Bobby Ray Eakins of Detroit, Michigan, her big brother, David Tingle (Angie) of Southfield, Michigan, her sister, Katherine Eliz-abeth Eakins of Eastpointe, Michigan, her baby sister and friend, Kimberly Sims (Jackson) of San Antonio, Texas, her sis-ter-cousin, Brittany DeLaHoussaye of Westland, Michigan, two nephews, JuWan Eakins and Ellis Sims, one niece, Cassidy Jane Sims, her aunts, her uncles, a bevy of cousins and an endless number of loving friends.
